FTC 2007-2008
Marvin competed in the 2007-2008 FIRST Vex Challenge with a double articulated arm. In autonomous mode it would place two rings on a low goal and then push it into the scoring zone. During match play it would score on the low goal. At the end of the game it would reach up and control the high (H-shaped) goal. By grasping it in the center it could drag both ends into their score zone. The drive base was able to drag the goals and another robot.
Team was Paul K and Jesse for most of the FTC 2008 Events
VRC 2008-2009
For the 2008-2009 VRC Elevation game Team 82 built a scooper robot that used a combination of treads and 100's of cable ties to lift blocks. The robot could score in the three lowest goals. Using the shape of the base and the down arm angle, the robot could push the center block off the ramp and flip it at the same time.
VRC 2009-2010
This robot went throught a lot of transformations, finally ending up as a Claw-bot!
Mid Atlantic Championship
The team competed at the Clean Sweep Mid-Atlantic Championship on February 27, 2010.
