New team for 2009-10 the Iron Taco's!
They write about their robot We used Omni wheels in our design to take advantage of their ability to roll in two directions. Our front two wheels are parallel to each other and the back two are perpendicular to the corresponding front wheels. We did this so that we can move sideways after we dumped the balls and se we can block along the wall. We used a basket for two reasons. The primary purpose of the basket is to carry and dump balls; the secondary is to aid in blocking. Our scoop is designed to lift balls with the remaining space available.
Mid Atlantic Championship
The team competed at the Clean Sweep Mid-Atlantic Championship on February 27, 2010.
